This famous Rabbi said the Messiah will appear after Sharon's death
The late Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri said that the Messiah, Jesus, had visited him and that he would return to Israel shortly after the death of Ariel Sharon. [realityofchrist]
On Saturday, the news broke that Israel's former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon had passed away after spending eight years in a coma.
There has been a mixed international response to Sharon's passing - Palestinians, who remember Sharon's brutal tenure as Foreign Minister of Israel, rejoiced in the streets. The Israeli faithful, including the top echelons of the leadership, released heartfelt statements recalling the strong, wise former leader.
However, some Israelis may be glad of his death - for one rather compelling reason.
Top Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri was splashed across Israeli headlines in 2007 when it was discovered that he prophesised, a few months before his death, that the new Messiah, Jesus, would show himself to the people....shortly after Ariel Sharon's death.
In one final flourish of dramatics, Kaduri left a note on his deathbed that was to be opened one year on from his death - this note included the details of his visions of the Messiah.
The note read: “Concerning the letter abbreviation of the Messiah’s name, He will lift the people and prove that his word and law are valid. This I have signed in the month of mercy, Yitzhak Kaduri”
He added that the name of the Messiah was "Yarim Ha’Am Veyokhiakh Shedvaro Vetorato Omdim"...otherwise known as Yehoshua, or Yeshua (Jesus).
His final clause was telling his followers that the Messiah would appear shortly after Ariel Sharon's death. What makes this story more compelling to the unbelievers is that Kaduri wrote the prophecy while Sharon was happy, healthy and in office - no hint of stroke, coma or impending death. Spooky!
Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri's last words from beyond the grave are making headlines yet again - with the passing of Sharon, are we now going to be visited by the Messiah?
Although his followers rate the Rabbi, there has been nay-saying from Orthodox Jews, who believe Kaduri "mistranslated the message".
What do you think of Kaduri's prophecy? Are we about to meet Yeshua? Or are these just Rabbi ramblings?
