The True Message of the Ark of the Covenant Discovery by Ron Wyatt. There was only ever one man chosen by God to discover the Ark of the Covenant. When Ron Wyatt's hand pointed at the site and his mouth said, "That's Jeremiah's grotto and the Ark of the Covenant is in there", God Himself chose Ron Wyatt. Subsequently Ron found the Ark and angels directly instructed him regarding what to do and when it would be done. God didn't need the best archaeologist in the world, or the most highly educated theologian in the world for this task. Apparently all He needed was a humble man who knew what to say when he presented this discovery. So did God choose the wrong man? Ron was humble – but did he know what to say when he presented the discovery of the Ark of the Covenant? Did Ron faithfully preach the true message of the Ark of the Covenant? Who ever God did choose to discover the Ark of the Covenant, didn't have to be infallible in every regard. So he could have been wrong on some things. He wasn't given light on every verse in the whole Bible. He may have been wrong on some of the various different doctrines contested in the church today, but to speak about those things was not his God given task. He only had one job, and one thing is for certain – he could not have been wrong on the message of the Ark of the Covenant – otherwise God chose the wrong person. God had to choose a man with one job to do, and that was to present the world with the true message of the Ark. This part was God's responsibility. To make certain Ron Wyatt made no mistake in this, God directed His angels to visually appear to Ron and verbally direct him. Taking the Tables of Stone the angel said, "God wants everyone to see these... sometime after The Sunday Law is enforced." Those are the exact words of the angel to Ron. Ron Wyatt already knew what The Sunday Law was from his belief in The Spirit of Prophecy (a.k.a. the writings of Ellen G. White). Sister White's book "The Great Controversy" goes into great detail in regard to The Sunday Law. Indeed, to my knowledge there is no other church or prophet who believes in a future Sunday Law, so there could be no misinterpretation of this "doctrine" as there are no variations to it. Ellen White herself explicitly described the message of the discovery of the Ark of the Covenant, 80 years before Ron Wyatt discovered it, "And He [Christ] gave unto Moses, when He had made an end of communing with him upon Mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God." (Exodus 31:18.) Nothing written on those tables could be blotted out. The precious record of the law was placed in the ark of the testament and is still there, safely hidden from the human family. But in God’s appointed time He will bring forth these tables of stone to be a testimony to all the world against the disregard of His commandments and against the idolatrous worship of a counterfeit Sabbath." Manuscript 122, "The Law", November 23, 1901. {8MR 100.3} Just like any message from God, just like the Bible itself, the message of this discovery is both simple and profound. The true message of the Ark of the Covenant can be stated as simply as "a testimony to all the world against the disregard of His commandments and against the idolatrous worship of a counterfeit Sabbath", or in other words, "We must still keep the Ten Commandments today, and the fourth, the Sabbath, is still Friday sundown until Saturday sundown, but NOT Sunday." All the deeper studies on the Ark, like those at ArkFiles.net and the videos on this website still all conclude in this one message - That we must keep the Ten Commandments as they are written on the Tables of Stone and NOT keep Sunday as the governments of the world will try to dictate under the Sunday Law. So did Ron Wyatt preach this message as THE true message of the Ark of the Covenant - or did God choose the wrong man? This 37 minute video is just a tiny collection of the hundreds of times Ron preached this message. To close then, if I may borrow a hermeneutic technique from Paul, I would like to apply what John wrote about himself to Ron Wyatt, but still as an admonition to us. "And he that saw [the blood and water] bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe." Transcript of the last clip for clarity: Bill Fry: ... when you told me this before, you told me you took the tables of stone out, and then the angel told you something about the tables of stone? Ron Wyatt: Yeah, he told me that it had to do with when these were to be shown to the world. Bill Fry: Right. Ron Wyatt: Two things were stated; one that if I was faithful I would have the privilege of sharing this, and the second was that when the mark of the beast law was in force, that shortly after that, was when this would take place. Bill Fry: Okay. Ron Wyatt: And there is a little bit of conundrum: it wasn’t stated as the mark of the beast law, it was stated, "when the Sunday law," but I tell people, and I think it's wiser to tell people that, since it’s not lying or deceiving, is that when the mark of the beast law is in force. Bill Fry: Right. But the angel said "Sunday law". Ron Wyatt: That’s right.
