What do you get when you mix an Israeli foreign correspondent based in Germany, with the Israeli Embassy, German Consulate, Moriah senior schools students, the ZFA and The German International School senior students? The answer; a vibrant playground that invites discourse and education. Eldad Beck is the Berlin-based correspondent of the Israeli daily "Yedioth Ahronoth." He holds an Austrian passport, which makes him one of the rare Israeli journalists who have been able to report from Iran, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and Afghanistan. Today he spoke to a group of students from diverse backgrounds, his presence allowed for the students at both Moriah College and the German School to then continue a discussion they otherwise would never have had. It was such an incredible opportunity for all involved and we will have more information and photographs soon!
