THREE MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT AND TO THE DAY OF THE LORD!!!! ARE YOU READY?

THE DOOMSDAY ATOMIC CLOCK WAS ESTABLISHED BY MANHATTAN PROJECT SCIENTISTS IN 1947

“Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.” Amos 5:18 (KJV)
Interesting news found today on the website of  the Bulletin Of The Atomic Scientists:
We find conditions to be so threatening that we are moving the hand two minutes closer. It is now three minutes to midnight,’ said Kennette Benedict, Executive Director of BAS, the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists. She said that there was still time to act, but real steps needed to be taken soon in order to ‘avert catastrophe.’ source – BAS

But the bible declares that it is much closer than that. The bible says that we are living in the last days of human history right before the start of two world-changing events. The first event that will change the world is known as the Rapture of the Church of Jesus Christ. The bible says it will go like this:
“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 (KJV)
This will be a time of unbelievable rejoicing for those of us who are saved, and a time of overwhelming fear and confusion for those who will be left behind. The even which follows the Rapture is known in the bible as the ‘time of Jacob’s trouble’, or the Great Tribulation:
“Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.” Jeremiah 30:7 (KJV)
“For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.” Matthew 24:21 (KJV)
You see, this world will not be destroyed by any arms race or military buildup between nations. We have nothing to fear from atom bombs destroying our world, or anything else for that matter. God is in control, and man will not do anything to this planet that is not in full alignment with God’s plan for it. But the day is coming where the entire globe on which we live will be blown to pieces:
“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be inall holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?” 2 Peter 3:10-12 (KJV)
So in the meantime, if you have to sit up late at night worrying over something, worry about where you will go when you die. The bible says that for the blood-washed believer in Jesus, “Therefore we arealways confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:” 2 Corinthians 5:6 (KJV). When we die, we go immediately to be with Jesus Christ. Not so for the unsaved.
When the unsaved person dies, they go to a literal, fiery, burning Hell from which there is no escape. Is that you? Are you usaved, are you unsure of where you will go if you were to die tonight? You don’t have to be.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 (KJV)
The Lord Jesus Christ stands at the door and is knocking at your heart today. What will your answer be?
