Most Christians want everyone to grasp God's love for them. And with that in mind, here are 7 things believers want unbelievers to know:
1. God is far more interested in what you can become than in what you've been.

Jesus did not come to the world 2000 years ago to condemn people, but to save them. And that includes you. Jesus won't keep bringing up your past. He will, however, lead you into a glorious future. That is, if you are willing to follow Him. One of the most beautiful things about God's forgiveness is that He provides people with a fresh start and a new beginning.
2. "All of us like sheep have gone astray." (Isaiah 53:6)
There is not one of us who deserves God's grace and mercy. Perhaps you feel like you are a "bigger sinner" than others; or maybe you feel like you are a lot better than certain religious folks you've met. Either way, there is a level playing field at the foot of the cross. When a person begins to get serious about his own sin, he soon realizes that everyone is in the same boat. All of us have broken God's commandments, and we all desperately need a Savior who will accept us anyway.
3. You would absolutely love Jesus if you really got to know Him.
Regardless of what you think about Jesus, please be aware of this: If you haven't met Him, there is no way you can really know what that experience would bring into your life. True? I mean think about it. Perhaps you have been turned off to Jesus because of some things a few professing Christians have done. If so, is it fair to Jesus and to yourself if you dismiss Christianity simply because some people who speak His name didn't live up to expectations?
One of the amazing things about Jesus is that His love is so pure and refreshing. That is a big reason why those of us who know Him wouldn't dream of turning our back on Him. When you find love, either in marriage or in religion, you don't want to let it go. And thankfully, Jesus isn't about to let go of those who love Him and trust Him as their Savior.
4. Christianity is similar to marriage. It requires faithfulness, trust, commitment, and a loving relationship.
My wife and I are thankful to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary this year. Anyone who has ever been married understands how radically different marriage is than single living. Walking down the aisle is the easy part. The real work begins after the honeymoon.
Likewise, accepting Christ is easy. But following Christ will challenge you at every level of your being. And yet, it is the most rewarding experience a person could ever enjoy. That's not to say everything in the Christian life is painless. But in the end, the challenges are well worth the everlasting result.
Without trust, a marriage cannot stand. And the same is true in a relationship with God. You begin by trusting Jesus. And then you continue to trust Christ day in and day out until He brings you home to heaven. No wonder the Bible describes believers as the bride of Christ. It is a blessed union which lasts forever.
5. God would rather forgive you than punish you.
God takes no pleasure in punishing sinners, just like the Father took no pleasure in sending His Son to bear the punishment on the cross which we deserve to pay. My wife sent me a screenshot recently which she saw online. It states, "Kar-ma: You get what you deserve. Christianity - Jesus got what you deserve." That's well said, and it's exactly what Scripture teaches about the cross.
6. None of us would "get it" apart from the work of the Holy Spirit.
Understanding Christianity is not a matter of being "smarter." Instead, it requires divine revelation. The Bible says, "Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ." (Romans 10:17) And, "No one can say, 'Jesus is Lord,' except by the Holy Spirit." (1 Cor. 12:3) Jesus said, "Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit." (John 3:6)
Would you like the benefit of divine revelation? Then simply believe the good news that Jesus died to pay for your sins on the cross. Accept Him as your Savior as you repent of your sin and turn to God for salvation. It's that easy. And it's the only way to "get it."
7. Christianity hinges on the cross and the empty tomb.
Christianity does not hinge on mystical experiences or religious rituals. It hinges on history, and specifically, upon what God did at the cross and in the tomb. Christ died for sinners, and on the third day rose from the grave. If you will place your faith in the One who earned your forgiveness by His death and resurrection, you will enjoy life forever with God.
But spiritual conversion is necessary. It's as simple as receiving a gift. You believe and receive. And then you start to flow in the wellspring of the Holy Spirit as He comes to live within you.
Will you come to the cross? Will you kneel in your heart before the Maker of heaven and earth? He willingly gave His life so that you can be reconciled to God, and He rose from the grave to give you new life today and forever. Trust in those facts and in that Person as the basis of your acceptance into God's family. And you will never be the same. You will become "a new creation" in Christ. (2 Cor. 5:17)
If you are an unbeliever, do you see why believers want you to know these 7 things? It's not too late for a new beginning.

Best Answer:  Show this person love and ask God for His wisdom.

~ James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

People are won by love. Share God's love with this person. Always be patient, kind and compassionate. Try to answer the questions using God's wisdom and you will see God can help you win this person. Or at least plant seeds of truth in their heart. :)

God bless you!

You can't. Just like an Atheist probably couldn't get you to STOP believing in God and Jesus. Your believes are made up of life experiences and also what you have been taught. It is human nature not to question what has shaped their lives, it just doesn't happen. Besides, it isn't just a belief in science that makes people Atheists, it is their logic and life experiences that have given them understanding.
P.s. God is the creator in Christianity, not Jesus. Jesus is the savior.

  • Pray for the world.
Compile the Scriptures about creation and ask him to read them (in a nice way). Try not to get him angry. I think the anger the rebellious have keeps them from faith, It fuels the pride and wrong beliefs.

Here are some good Scriptures: Genesis 1-2, Ps. 33:6-9, Heb. 11:3, John 1:1-3, Col. 1:16, Rev. 4:11, Proverbs 3:19-20.

First ask yourself this: Why do you believe in Jesus Christ? You can tell him/her why you personally believe the religious way and it will probably make sense to them too. You can give that person reasons why you believe. Even if they still don't believe, then don't worry. It's their loss. And they also have a right to believe what they want to believe. You tried, so don't let it upset you.

YOU don't. If the holy spirit convicts them, they will want to become a follower. If the holy spirit doesn't want them, then you will never be able to convince them of the need of Jesus in their life. They may have a hardened heart and seared conscience, in which case you will waste your time and annoy them.

1 Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and [be] ready always to [give] an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:"

    If they ask tell them.

first be a follower of Jesus Christ, don't try to get anyone to believe in Christ, just try to please Christ, let Christ save those who are on his list from the Father.
the apostles did not follow Christ bcuz he could prove math theory and had a science degree, they were chosen, it was time, God made it happen.
use the same formula, do the will of God which is obeying Christ.
Jesus saves (as in, Jesus saves who God chooses when the time is come).

    1) Check out Intelligent Design. Make sure you don't pressure him with "THIS IS THE TRUE WAY" when he's not interested in a debate/discussion. Its just going to make him mad.

    2) Get him a bible and pray for him. There's nothing that works better than God. If he was meant to be a Christian, God will lead him to Him.

You can't force somebody to be Christian. He's obviously heard the whole Jesus thing before. It's his choice. Your best bet is to ask him if he'd like to talk to you about Christianity and try to get him to understand why you love God and Jesus.

You have to provide evidence that he is wrong. Simple, but you can't do it because if you're ignorant enough to blindly follow Jesus, I doubt you've read many scientific works.

That should be pretty simple reading for you.

YOU can't. God can. You can share your testimony and your experiences but you can't change a person's heart. Show love by being a good and faithful friend. Pray without ceasing that your friend would have that experience with God that would remove all doubt. It's only through a personal encounter with God, one that "knocks us off our donkey" that leads to that change.
